Acceptable Use Policy

The conduct and content rules that keep the Digibeds platform safe, lawful and reliable for every property.

Company: Digibeds Technologies Private Limited (“Digibeds”, “we”, “us”), India

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) protects Digibeds, its customers, their guests and the public from unlawful, harmful or abusive use of the Digibeds websites, cloud software, mobile applications and Open API (the “Service”). It applies to every user and supplements the Terms & Conditions of Use and the Software as a Service Policy.

2. Prohibited Content

  • Content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, obscene, or that promotes violence, hatred or discrimination;
  • Content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity or other rights of any person;
  • Malware, spyware, ransomware or any malicious code;
  • Personal data collected or uploaded without a lawful basis or the necessary consents.

3. Prohibited Conduct

  • Attempting unauthorised access to the Service, other tenants’ data or supporting infrastructure; probing, scanning or penetration testing without written authorisation (see the Responsible Disclosure Policy for the authorised route);
  • Circumventing authentication, authorisation, rate limits, usage limits or security controls;
  • Interfering with the integrity or performance of the Service, including denial-of-service attacks or unauthorised load testing;
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling or copying the software except as a statute expressly permits;
  • Reselling or providing the Service to third parties without a written partner agreement;
  • Misrepresenting identity, impersonating Digibeds staff, or misusing Digibeds trademarks.

4. Email, Messaging and Guest Communications

  • No spam or unsolicited bulk communications through the platform;
  • Guest contact data may be used only lawfully and in accordance with the customer’s own privacy obligations and applicable anti-spam laws (e.g. GDPR, CAN-SPAM, India’s regulations);
  • Mandatory opt-outs and suppression requests must be honoured.

5. API Use

Use of the DigiBeds Open API is additionally governed by the API Terms of Use, including token confidentiality, documented rate limits and the prohibition of scraping outside the API.

6. Reporting Abuse

Report suspected violations to [email protected] with details and evidence. Reports are reviewed promptly and handled confidentially where possible.

7. Enforcement

Digibeds may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle usage, suspend or terminate accounts, and notify authorities where required. Where practicable, notice is given and proportionate measures are applied first. Suspension for AUP violations does not extend a subscription term or create refund rights.
