OTA Connectivity Partner Policy

How OTAs and distribution platforms worldwide connect to DigiBeds as connectivity partners.

Effective date: July 19, 2026

Company: Digibeds Technologies Private Limited (“Digibeds”, “we”, “us”), India

1. Purpose and Who Can Apply

This OTA Connectivity Partner Policy governs how online travel aggregators and agencies, metasearch platforms, global distribution systems, bedbanks, wholesalers and other distribution technology providers (each a “Partner”) connect to DigiBeds as connectivity partners, worldwide. Connectivity gives a Partner machine access to rates, availability, restrictions and reservation delivery for DigiBeds properties that choose to work with that Partner. This Policy forms part of the Digibeds legal framework together with the Channel Manager Policy, the API Terms, the Software as a Service Policy and the Privacy Policy, and applies in addition to any signed partner agreement or order form.

2. Application and Onboarding

  • Apply by contacting [email protected] with the legal entity name, country of registration, website, expected markets and a technical contact;
  • DigiBeds performs reasonable due diligence: legal standing, applicable travel-trade licences where required by the Partner’s markets, data protection posture and security practices;
  • on approval, the Partner receives documentation, sandbox access and named support contacts;
  • DigiBeds may accept or decline any application at its discretion and may require a signed connectivity agreement before production access.

3. Technical Integration and Certification

  • Connectivity is provided through the DigiBeds connectivity interfaces and the DigiBeds Open API, over HTTPS/TLS only, using per-property tokens and, where configured, IP whitelisting;
  • Partners must complete certification in the sandbox — covering rate and availability retrieval, restriction handling, and the correct delivery of bookings, modifications and cancellations — before go-live;
  • bookings, amendments and cancellations must be delivered promptly, completely and exactly once; the delivery identifiers provided must be used for de-duplication;
  • DigiBeds gives reasonable advance notice of breaking interface changes; Partners must adopt supported versions within the notice period;
  • load must stay within published rate limits; bulk operations must use the endpoints designed for them.

4. Partner Obligations

  • Display property content, rates, taxes and policies accurately and only for properties that have authorised the Partner connection;
  • use data received through the connectivity solely to operate the authorised distribution service — no resale of raw data, no scraping, no building of derivative databases, and no sublicensing of the connection without written consent;
  • protect credentials and tokens, report suspected compromise without undue delay, and rotate credentials on request;
  • process guest personal data lawfully and minimally, in accordance with applicable data protection laws (including EU/UK GDPR and India’s DPDP Act 2023); a data processing agreement is available and may be required;
  • comply with consumer protection, price display, tax and licensing law in every market the Partner serves, and with applicable sanctions and export rules;
  • maintain accurate settlement with properties: commissions, invoices, chargebacks and payment disputes are strictly between the Partner and the property.

5. DigiBeds Obligations

  • Provide documented interfaces, sandbox access and certification support;
  • operate connectivity to the availability targets in the Software as a Service Policy;
  • provide named support channels and incident communication for connectivity-affecting events;
  • give reasonable notice of planned breaking changes.

6. Commercials

Connectivity may be provided free of charge or on the commercial terms set out in the signed partner agreement or order form. DigiBeds charges no commission on bookings unless expressly agreed in writing. All commission, marketing and settlement arrangements between the Partner and properties are made directly between those parties; DigiBeds is not a party to, and has no liability for, those arrangements.

7. Intermediary Status and Liability

DigiBeds provides connectivity technology only, as described in the Channel Manager Policy: it is not a party to any booking, is not liable to serve or fulfil any booking, and is not responsible for the Partner’s platform, listings, guest relationships, payments or disputes. The exclusions and aggregate liability cap of the Software as a Service Policy apply. Each party remains responsible for its own compliance with law.

8. Brand and Publicity

Use of the DigiBeds name and logo — including “connectivity partner” claims, press releases and partner-directory listings — requires prior written approval. DigiBeds may list approved Partners as connectivity partners and may withdraw a listing at any time.

9. Confidentiality

Non-public technical documentation, credentials, commercial terms and property data are confidential and may be used only to operate the connectivity. Confidentiality survives termination.

10. Suspension and Termination

  • DigiBeds may suspend or terminate a Partner connection for security risk, certification failure, misuse of data, harm or reasonably likely harm to properties or guests, breach of this Policy or of law, or where the underlying agreement ends;
  • either party may terminate for convenience with the notice stated in the partner agreement (or 30 days where none is stated);
  • on termination, tokens are revoked, access ends, and the Partner must stop using and — except where law requires retention — delete data received through the connectivity. Bookings already delivered to properties remain valid between the guest, the Partner and the property.

11. Worldwide Scope

Partner connectivity is offered worldwide. Each Partner is responsible for confirming that operating its service, and connecting to DigiBeds, is lawful in the territories it serves. Where local law imposes additional requirements, those requirements apply in addition to this Policy.

12. Framework and Changes

DigiBeds may update this Policy from time to time; the version published on this page applies. Continued use of the connectivity after an update constitutes acceptance. Where a signed partner agreement conflicts with this Policy, the signed agreement prevails for that Partner.
