1. Scope and Licence
These API Terms govern access to and use of the DigiBeds Open API at openapi.digibeds.com and its documentation (see the Open API page). Subject to compliance, Digibeds grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to make API calls for the authorised property/properties to build lawful integrations for that customer’s business. These Terms supplement the Terms & Conditions of Use, the Software as a Service Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Credentials
- API access uses per-property refresh tokens plus the property id; tokens are shown once, stored hashed, expire after 60 minutes of inactivity and can be revoked at any time;
- Tokens and admin keys are confidential: server-side use only — never in browsers, mobile apps or public code repositories;
- You are responsible for all calls made with your credentials; notify Digibeds immediately of suspected compromise.
3. Usage Rules and Rate Limits
- Respect documented limits (per-property and per-IP requests per minute, date-range and batch caps) and honour the Retry-After header on HTTP 429;
- No scraping, bulk extraction or mirroring outside documented endpoints; no attempts to bypass authentication, rate limits or property scoping;
- No use of the API to build a competing generalized hospitality platform, and no sublicensing or resale of API access without a written partner agreement;
- Data received via the API may be used only for the authorised property’s operations and in compliance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
4. Availability, Changes and Versioning
- The API is provided with the availability commitment of the SLA for paid subscriptions;
- Digibeds may evolve the API; backwards-incompatible changes are versioned or notified in advance where practicable; non-breaking additions (new fields, endpoints) may occur at any time and integrations must tolerate them;
- Deprecated capabilities receive a reasonable sunset period except where security requires immediate change.
5. Suspension and Termination
Digibeds may throttle, suspend or revoke API access immediately for security risk, abuse, breach of these Terms or of the Acceptable Use Policy, or unpaid fees. API access ends with the underlying subscription.
6. Disclaimer
The API and documentation are provided “as is”; liability is limited as set out in the Software as a Service Policy.
